Profile

■ The Principles of FAI

Because of explosive population growth in recent years, the world’s food supply is becoming an increasingly important issue. One key factor in resolving this issue is raising the production of fish, shellfish and other aquatic products through the appropriate development of aquaculture and fisheries.

FAI (Fisheries and Aquaculture International Co. Ltd.) was established in 1979 by a group of specialists in fisheries and aquaculture. Since then, we have undertaken a variety of projects in many developing countries.
